Talk about World Of Warcraft Here.

So the time to start working towards 110 is almost upon us. I would like to start the conversation about what roles guild members want to play at max level. I know there has been quite a bit of interest expressed to me in the last week or two about running guild dungeons and raids again. We will be in no rush for this kind of thing but I would like to hear from you if you are interested in leading groups of any kind for Legion content. (Don't feel any pressure if you have done these roles in the past but do not want to anymore...just look at me lol, I am not planning to lead any groups any more but will happily help plan).
I have had some outside people express interest about joining the guild to raid lead, but I do not want to go that route if anyone who has been here is interested in that role. I am also hesitant because i think most people who are asking about this have unreasonable expectations. This is has always been, and will continue to be a relaxed guild when it comes to raiding and I get a sense that the people asking me about coming in to lead raids do not fully grasp this concept as I explain it to them.
Anyway to everyone who is back in the game, WELCOME BACK TO AZEROTH! I hope you enjoy playing again. I had tempered expectations for this expansion but so far it is really looking great.
(oh and yes, I am a dreadlord. You can only hide that type of thing for so long)

What's a dreadlord?
I am interested in dungeons, scenarios, achievements, but not leading groups. I am looking forward to the leveling and do not want to rush it but of course I am sure I will once expansion hits
I imagine I will hop into LFR just for the fun of it, but other than that, I think I just want to enjoy the leveling experience.
I agree people who want to raid lead from outside our guild, really don't have a full understanding of our guild. We have some awesome people in guild who do a fantastic job raid leading, but I don't want to mention any names or put anyone on the spot. I enjoyed the raiding we did when we did it.
I cannot tell you Kars how much it meant to me that you offered to pick up the reins when you did. It took so much pressure off me at a time when I needed to take a step back and do less that was stressful. Thank you and keep up the good work! I am always here if you want to step back out again, but I think you are doing great and I think you will be a great Guild Leader as we go into the expansion! Let me know if you need me to do anything.
Always and maybe forever,

I just re-subbed! Am downloading the patch as we speak. I'm very excited to play again... but life is very unpredictable right now, since we're expecting a baby at the end of October! So I'll have to play it by ear. It's great, Kars, that you're keeping your eye on all this for all of us; much appreciated.

And, an update... I'm going to start a demon hunter horde side on Thunderhorn, where my husband has toons (in the hopes that maybe someday I'll convince him to play again). It seems like the best way to jump back in, as opposed to spending the next few days getting all my add-ons and settings right again for my main(s). I'll get to that soon I think, especially to play the demon invasions and new scenarios with you all. But meanwhile, connect with me via BattleTag so I can keep up with what you guys are up to! mavx1433

Oh my. Congrats Mav! One good thing and one great thing in a single post

Woot grats Mav!

Mav, I won't congratulate you on the baby because anything that cuts into gaming time is obviously not a good thing. I don't see how anybody else doesn't see this.
Well, lets just say it's been some trying days the past few weeks. It saddens me to say I don't think Lenores and I will be coming back to WoW. Lenores just downloaded the patch for the new expansion and it told her, her computer didn't meet the minimum requirements to play the game. She tried playing anyway and was lagging so bad it just wasn't playable for her. Her computer is a bit older now, unfortunately times are tough and I can't afford to build her a new one right now. So without her playing beside me, we have decided we are just going to let this go until I can build her a proper gaming rig.
I am not saying we will never come back because we might one day, just not for the start of this expansion and not for the foreseeable future. On top of all this, many of you might not have heard but we had a disastrous rain event come through my city this past weekend. It has devastated 40,000 + homes, 11 are confirmed dead and many still missing. Our house was not affected, thankfully. We came out okay with little to no damage, but I can't say the same for some of our friends and family. So if you don't hear from me in a while, don't fear, we are just going to be super busy.
PS: Congrats Mav, if you are half as good a mom as being a feral druid that kid is in good hands.

So sorry Mourning. Praise the Lord you stayed high and dry, I know it has been a devastating flood and the casualties and destruction saddens me. Hope and pray all your friends and family that were effected will recover in all ways.
We will see you when we see you and hope in the meantime you keep in touch.

Mourning, so sorry about the very bad luck with the flooding. I couldn't believe you guys were getting hit again. Here's hoping the next few months bring relief for your family and friends (.... and a gaming rig for Lenores).
You have more faith in my child-rearing abilities than my husband does... he's sure I'll have baby in one hand and WoW gaming mouse in the other. And would that be so bad???

Ha no Mav! I used to play Runescape with one of my 2 year old granddaughters on my lap! She would type the x key and tell me she was giving me an "axe" to chop wood.

Looks like we are back. I was able to find a pretty insane deal on a computer from my friend at work. It's not the best but it definitely gets the job done as far as WoW gaming goes. So we are back and leveling slowly.

So glad! It is nice to see so many back, I don't know about anyone else, but I think this expansion will keep me busy for awhile!
